勞顯亮,香港記者。

William is an award-winning journalist based in Hong Kong with over 14 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Deputy Assignment Editor at HK01, Hong Kong’s largest online news outlet, William co-manages the investigative reporting team and daily news team.

His portfolio includes coverage of significant events such as the Hong Kong democracy movements, China’s property crisis, human trafficking in Southeast Asia, and the clandestine financial networks of Chinese top leaders’ families.

Beyond his responsibilities at HK01, William is a part-time lecturer in the Journalism Department at Hong Kong Baptist University. He instructs courses on Investigative Journalism, Chinese News Writing and Reporting, imparting knowledge and inspiring the next generation of journalists.

Prior to his position at HK01, William gained extensive experience at Sing Tao Daily and Hong Kong Economic Times, reporting on local and international news stories.

William’s deep cultural roots in Hong Kong and Mainland China, coupled with his Master’s Degree in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University, afford him a distinctive perspective and a vast professional network.
